You will be working as Integration Analyst and will be reporting to Pricing Specialist and will be a part of Bangalore, India. In this role you will be primarily responsible for contributing to development and implementation of defined pricing strategies in order to maximize profit and market share for the relevant division/product group, whilst ensuring ABB customer satisfaction and follow defined pricing infrastructure and pricing policies to deliver measurable results
Your responsibilities
- Understanding of various pricing strategies, discount control methods, and customer classification based on buying behavior
- Collaborating with various departments (finance, sourcing, product management, channel marketing, and other stake holders and key business partners) to maximize growth and profitability business through implementation of key Price Levers – transactional, cost plus and value pricing
- Understanding of rebates/sales incentives- Types, Calculation methods used, analyzing ROI, measuring performance, ability to understand & interpret terms of the incentives/rebates contracts
- Analyzing data (from SAP or other applications) over business processes using dedicated tools (e.g. Alteryx, Tableau)
- Contribute to the development of an automated continuous analytics system, which is aligned to key objectives regarding pricing analytics and visualize analytics to understand data-driven insights and trends
- Measuring & analyzing the key drivers of the revenue including price, volume & mix and apply transactional pricing tool kit and analytical techniques and support annual price evaluation process
Your background
- Degree in Engineering, Finance or MBA background would be preferred
- Minimum 5-7 years of prior experience in pricing analytics in a complex & fast paced work environment
- Knowledge of Advanced MS Excel skills including Macros & VBA
- Ability to get into the most granular details of technical/ implementation/ operational issues
- Strong visualization & dashboarding skills in Tableau/Power BI
- Extensive experience with data modeling/transformation using SQL, Alteryx, MS Access
- Ability to create custom queries in SAP to extract data- in depth knowledge of SAP Table structures
