    As an Intern - R&D for Process Automation Business Area in Shanghai, Hangzhou, China, you will be responsible for providing the opportunity for you to embed into ABB R&D design team and be part of the R&D group.

    This position reports to

    R&D Local Unit Lead

    Your responsibilities

    • Being responsible for Mechanics drawing (2D / 3D with Pro-E) generation with the guide from experience engineers
    • Being responsible sample build after the drawings /specifications completed, to contact with supplier and following-up the technical discussion, sample build progress until the samples are finally received
    • Having capability to do program software, automatic testing and software programming
    • trial design background is preferred
    • Industrial design background is preferred

    Your background

    • Pursuing a bachelor in Automation or Mechanics & Electronic Engineering & Computer Science
    • Familiar with eCAD tool (Pro-E, CERO) is preferred
    • Trial design background is preferred
    • Industrial design background is preferred
    • Must be self-motivated and willing to take more responsibility, strong ownership of the assigned job
