    Position summary

    dition, you will be an integral team member of the global Assurance, Risk and Internal Controls team supporting on projects and initiatives. The work model for the role is: hybrid #hybrid-Li This position reports to the Head of ARIC (Assurance, Risk & Internal Controls) Services. You will be mainly accountable for: • Ensuring a coordinated and consistent approach to implement, maintain, and assess the Assurance Process by the ABB Services Delivery Center management and process owners, including the annual management testing activities • Supporting proactively and in collaboration with ABB Services Delivery Center leadership and process owners the simplification of processes, controls, and the related systems in a way that maintains the right accountability • Maintaining relationships with ABB Services Delivery Center management and process owners in the design, development and maintenance of effective risk and control management practices including assessment of deficiencies and their underlying root causes as well as development of sustainable remediation plans • Supporting Global Process Owners and ABB Services Delivery Center Leadership on process design enhancements to standardize processes and controls with aim to simplify and rationalize the control environment by identifying and supporting implementation of sustainable control improvements • Providing advice, expertise, and training to ABB Services Delivery Center Leadership, Process Owners, Control Owners, and Control Performers to increase awareness on the importance of risks and controls, to ensure successful execution of controls, and to increase understanding of roles and responsibilities within the control environment • Integrating into the global Assurance, Risk, and Internal Controls team by either leading or participating in initiatives and projects You will join a dynamic, talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.
    Qualifications for the role

    • You present strong business knowledge and acumen, as well as solid project management skills
    • You have at least 8 to 12 years of experience in finance, audit, or internal control related areas
    • Ability to demonstrate your experience in working with US GAAP and Sox requirements
    • Good understanding of risk management principles and working experience in process improvements (International business experience is an advantage)
    • Possess an enhanced knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP)
    • Degree in finance and accounting or business administration (professional qualification equivalent to CPA/CIA/CISA is an advantage)
    • You are at ease communicating in English; speaking other languages according to the geography is beneficial
    • You demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both internally and externally, you are a team player with strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to independently draw conclusions
    • Proven ability to effectively work under pressure and within tight deadlines and courage to confront difficult issues with the appropriate response
    • You hold current a VISA/work permit valid in Poland
