    Inventory & Logistic Specialist

    In this role, you will be in charge of ensuring that warehousing operations are executed in a safe, timely and efficient manner. This is a key position in the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics Systems Integration Unit team in Houston, Texas. You will be leading by example, following all established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, record and dispatch goods in the warehouse to ensure seamless receipt and dispatch of goods.

    Operations Manager

    Your responsibilities

    • Overseeing the warehousing operations (including packing, picking, loading and dispatching)
    • Maintaining complete and accurate data in the ERP system
    • Inspecting quality of incoming goods before storage, to ensure no damaged goods are received
    • Responsible for sorting and arranging material for storage as per guidelines
    • Performs other routine activities according to established procedures
    • Ensuring daily contact with suppliers to prepare for expected deliveries and ensure required resources and equipment are available
    • Participating in regular inventory control processes and reviews

    Your background

    • A High School Diploma, or GED, and 2 years' experience in warehousing operations, inventory management & logistics,
    • Preferred Qualifications: working as Warehouse, Inventory or Logistics Coordinator with Process Analytical products or project integration. Knowledge of ERP system and SAP is good to have.
    • Demonstrated experience working on a production line. (Supervisory experience is an advantage.)
    • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
    • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
