    IS Country Master Data Management Specialist, Mexico

    As Country Master Data Management Specialist, you will be accountable for Master Data Governance in the country. You will specify, design, implement and maintain Master Data structure in line with business requirements and ABB’s Global Domains to maximize workflow efficiency and ensure compliance requirements.

    IS Manager

    Your responsibilities

    • Define Master Data Governance models, standards as per the global company Master Data requirement and assure they are being implemented within the local organization.
    • Drive review meetings within the Business, Stakeholders, or Country Master Data Organizations, and act as a highest escalation point of Master data topics.
    • Coordinate Master Data activities within the local and GBS teams. Ensure Master Data governance rules are followed for data maintenance and quality.
    • Represent the Country in Master Data Global / Group level project Steering Committees or Reference Teams.
    • Own Master Data training concept and offering, make sure that all of the domains are having right training materials and respective governance for training participation is build and followed.
    • Act as an overall owner for the Master Data KPI’s, make sure they are regularly revised and updated to fill in the current Data Quality needs.
    • Represent Master Data on company mergers, acquisitions, and divestures insuring data migration is completed correctly and per governance guidelines.
    • Coordinate Master Data local projects within local IS and business domains, insure proper communications of projects outcome and changes within the local environment.

    Your background

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Systems, Business Engineering or similar and 5+ years’ experience in one or more of a combination of the following areas: IS master data management, ERP functional delivery and operational support within Finance, Supply Chain Management and/or Customer/Vendor management.
    • Knowledge of SAP and Master Data Management in SAP.
    • 7 years of experience in IT with Master Data or data management.
    • Knowledge of existing methods and tools for data transfers (ETL) will be required.
    • Previous experience in Project Management.
    • Advanced English Level.
