IS Functional Lead-Commerce Automation

You will be working as IS Functional Lead-Commerce Automation and will be part of Motion business for BA Function Finance division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to IS Service Owner-Procurement & Logistics and will be responsible for leading the solutioning activities and provide subject matter expert for all business applications within the Procurement & Logistics domain. Through applying a broad IS technology knowledge and expertise you will support strategic business programs and the continuous digitalization needs across ABB’s Business Areas and Divisions.

Your responsibilities

• Owning the SAP Ariba commerce automation end to end solution and ensure the solution is robust and scalable across ABB business divisions
• Leading change management board activities and collaborate with business champions and process owners to continuously improve system usability and customer satisfaction
• Understanding business requirements and assist in developing designs that leverage the best practices embedded within Ariba applications. Leading the configuration, testing and deployment of Ariba solutions
• Coordinating with other Functional leads, external vendors, and project team for integration requirements within SAP Ariba applications
• Supporting ITGC and other compliance requirements and ensure solution designed and developed enables compliance measurement, monitoring, and improvement activities
• Engaging in requirement engineering to decide which requirements are covered by available standard functionalities, for which functionalities enhancements are needed and aligned with architecture guidelines

Your background

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Information system, engineer, finance, business management or equivalent program is required
• 8+ years of cumulative working experience with 5+ years of experience with SAP solutioning, functional/technical design or development is required
• Exposure and hands on experience to enables the exchange of purchase orders, order confirmations, shipping notifications, goods receipts, service entry sheets, and the electronic processing of invoices and credit memos in Commerce Automation
• Good knowledge of scalable EDI/WebEDI platform for the optimization of the ordering and e-invoicing process, etc
• Buyer network set up and reporting Ariba network ID/ role’s maintenance integration with Ariba commerce automation and SAP MM for various interfaces
• Perform Commerce Automation Administrative like configuration & changes to templates, transaction rules, Supplier groups, etc
