IT Project Management - Measurement and Analytics for Process Automation

ABB Process Automation (PA) division develops, produces, sells, delivers and services products and solutions to enable industrial and energy customers to operate more efficiently and profitably. Key product groups within the Division are: Analytical Instruments, Field Devices, Flow Measurement, Force Measurement, Instrumentation Service and Process Analytics. Our global team of experts in Measurement and Analytics technologies supporting PA is dedicated to serving our customers with the best digitally enabled solutions. We are now looking for an IT Project Manager who will oversee technology development and implementation projects. Your role will be to provide structure, clear guidelines, tasks and milestones, and role accountability from project planning to final solution implementation and project closure.

Global Tools and Landscape Manager

Your responsibilities

• Providing support for global and local projects.
• Engaging team members across the organization to define needs and to design, develop and implement solutions.
• Managing the development of project planning documents.
• Monitoring projects to ensure best practices.
• Analyzing and addressing project risks, and regularly disseminating lessons learned.
• Working with other functions to coordinate contract negotiations and claims with customers.
• Achieving project deliverables and compliance with contract requirements.
• Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Your background

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field and minimum five years of experience with demonstrated competency in Project Management
• Experience within Manufacturing industry Sales, Operations, Product Development or Service will be preferred
• Demonstrated experience in management of project scope, cost, schedules and vendors/subcontractors
• Ability to develop and implement cost out programs, including tracking, analyzing, reporting and problem solving
• Ability to provide work direction to team members not in a direct reporting relationship
• Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor at all levels of the organization to influence and drive collaboration across teams and functions with minimal supervision
• A collaborative, solution focused approach and strong communication skills
