You will be working as Junior Team Lead and will be part of General Accounting Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Accounting & Reporting Manager. You will be primarily responsible for leading a group or team focused on the complete, accurate, and timely completion of accounting activities for an area (e.g. Reporting, Consolidation, etc.) within the General Accounting (GA) team. Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and procedures as well as external regulatory requirements

Your responsibilities

• Performing general accounting activities and recording of financial transactions
• Conducting investigations and reconciliations of accounts as necessary for any discrepancies
• Performing accounting analysis and generate reports to support finance and business leaders thus facilitate decision making
• Performing month end book closing activities
• Ensuring that the group reporting is performed on time and manage the stake holders
• Co-ordinating with Internal and external auditors
• Initiating the quality improvement initiatives in the R2R area

Your background

• Bachelor’s/ Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce//ICWA or CA Inter
• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in general accounting, reporting, reconciliation and processing of journal entries
• Must have the experience in handling a team
• Must have experience in Record to Report (R2R)
• Must be flexible in working for any shift timings
• Good communication skills
• Working knowledge in MS office.( SAP Knowledge is preferred).sss
