    As a committed fully qualified lawyer, you strengthen our legal team for the Electrification Business in Germany at the Mannheim location and bring your legal know-how to diverse and demanding tasks. In a direct reporting line to the Regional General Counsel EMEA for Electrification, you advise the operating divisions as well as the executive bodies and staff units of the German ABB Electrification business in all legal & integrity matters in the international environment of the ABB Group.     Your responsibilities

    • Independent strategic legal advice to the ABB Electrification Business in all legal
    • & integrity matters, in particular contracts/commercial law including digital, public procurement law, product safety and liability, regulatory and integrity, litigation and corporate governance.
    • Supporting the operating units in internal ABB risk reviews and in the implementation of guidelines and directives of the ABB Group.
    • Advising and training on integrity and compliance matters.
    • Participation in national and international project teams, consisting of in-house colleagues from other countries, colleagues from other departments such as the tax and insurance or accounting and reporting department and, if necessary, external consultants.
    • Securing and enforcing ABB's legal rights and claims before state courts, in arbitration proceedings and against authorities – in close coordination with external lawyers.
    • Coordination of cooperation with external lawyers and other legal experts.
    • Being a visible leader and partner to the business.
    • Pay close attention to legal developments.

    Your background

    • Fully qualified lawyer
    • In-house experience with manufacturing /OEM company preferred
    • Overall experience working with business teams
    • Fluent written and spoken German and English, additional languages are a plus
    • Flexible team player who convinces with a self-reliant, well-structured and effective way of working as well as perseverance
