    For this challenging and responsible position in PLC library software development, we are looking for an experienced computer scientist or electrical engineer (m/f/d) who is familiar with complex software structures and has knowledge of industrial automation. This is your chance to take technical responsibility - from the initial concept to specification and implementation in the SCRUM process.     This position reports to

    Teamlead Automation Builder & Libraries

    Your responsibilities

    • Coordination of the AC500 PLC library development according to IEC61131
    • within a global SCRUM development team (India, China and Germany)
    • SCRUM master: backlog maintenance, sprint planning and reviews
    • Responsible for product and application libraries and required tools (e.g. for automation in water treatment, motion control, solar, buildings, telecontrol protocols, redundancy, ...but also more general PLC basic and platform functions)
    • Concept development including requirements management - in close coordination with product management including the development of roadmaps
    • Project management including budget planning, cost control and reporting
    • Design of product and application libraries according to requirements in coordination with adjacent development areas, such as: Firmware, software and system testing
    • Organization of level 4 support
    • Presentations of library solutions at customer events
    • Continuous improvement of the development process and further development of the library style guide
    • participation in committees (e.g. PLCOpen)
    • Library development

    Your background

    • Completed studies in the field of technical computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable direction
    • Several years of professional experience in development coordination and PLC programming
    • Experience in the application and configuration of industrial automation systems
    • Knowledge of communication protocols is an advantage (Telecontrol: IEC61850, IEC60870 and DNP3; BACnet)
    • Very good communication skills, intercultural openness and experience in working in globally distributed teams
    • Ability to motivate the global team
    • Solution-oriented work style, strong initiative and high abstraction skills
    • Very good written and spoken English - basic German required, better knowledge desirable
