    Position summary

    Local Business Line Manager

    In this role you will be responsible for the leadership and management of the local Business Line, ensuring profitable business growth through the local representation of the Global Business Line. You will oversee country operations management of the Local Business Unit, including Marketing and Sales, Operations.

    Your responsibilities

    • Ensure compliance and practical execution of safety, integrity and commercial policies and practices.
    • P&L Responsibility, meet or exceed agreed targets and drive profitable growth.
    • Implements the Global Division and Business Line strategy and ensures business development and profitable growth in local markets. Provides input to Global Division and Business Unit strategy.
    • Ensures development of performance targets in line with global targets and ensures achievement through oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed.
    • Ensures profitable business growth in the Country by maximizing geographic coverage and channel penetration, as well as focusing on industry segments in the domestic market.
    • Optimizes business on a regional scale, taking advantage of the Group’s local and global resources.
    • Builds and maintains strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
    • Implements HSE and business compliance standards and regulations in the Country on behalf of the Division. Personally, lives the ABB values and Group standards. Supports the Global Business Unit in their Local Business Unit responsibility for the same. Ensures (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.

    Your background

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
    • 5+ years of experience as owner of P&L.
    • Financial and reporting knowledge.
    • Experience in sales management (negotiations, etc).
    • Knowledge of Process Industries, in Pulp & Paper market is a plus.
    • Management and experience with people in charge (teamwork).
    • English Advanced.
