    Local Business Line Manager Pulp & Paper - Metals

    We are looking for a Local Business Line Manager for Pulp&Paper and Metals in Brazil. As Local Business Line Manager you will have a key role when implementing business strategy in several of Pulp&Paper and Metals Business Lines in Brazil. You will drive the health and safety agenda, profitable growth and superior customer experience in as-signed market. This role will be located in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

    Global Product Group Manager

    Your responsibilities

    • Responsibility for the Pulp&Paper and Metals organization represented in Brazil. Driving profitable growth and superior customer experience in alignment with business strategy for Business Line Pulp & Paper, Metals and Growth Industries. Overseeing business operations including sales, marketing, operations and portfolio.
    • Full profit and loss responsibility for assigned Local Business Lines. Managing the country’s operational pool, balancing need and capacity from the different business lines represented in the country.
    • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and other stakeholders.
    • Driving HSE, quality and continuous improvement development and execution in Local Business Lines.
    • Ensuring alignment with the strategy plan and executing global projects and activities in line with global plans.
    • Implementing and ensuring business compliance with ABB Corporate and Country standards, rules, and processes.
    • Acting as country representative for Pulp&Paper and Metals Brazil.
    • Ensuring that the Local Business Lines is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Ensuring competency development and talent growth within the Business Lines.

    Your background

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics or related field.
    • 10+ years of relevant experience in project business, sales and operations in the Pulp&Paper and Metals Market.
    • Proven leadership track record of leading major organizations.
    • Understanding of relevant markets, customers, technology and competition.
    • Proven sales acumen and experience in driving various ways to market.
    • Experience in change & turnaround management, developing and leading large organizations in various business cycles. Customer-oriented & strategic mindset with passion to drive business results through people.
    • As a person, you are a good communicator, people developer and good at collaboration.
    • Fluent English, Native Portuguese, Spanish is a plus.
