    Logistics Intern

    This position reports to

    Continuous Improvement Manager

    Your responsibilities

    • Supports the implementation, delivery and continuous improvement of products and services within defined area, as directed.
    • Learns to accomplish relevant tasks through practical experience, to support course of academic study and/or enhance personal employment opportunities.
    • VSM Current and future state planning, gathering/measurement of required data and execution for getting clear and S.M.A.R.T. improvement actions in the short, medium, and long term.
    • Lean Logistics implementation, from Quality Wins concepts, creating or reinforcing existing links with Lean Production, Supplier and Manufacturing/Industrialization.
    • Procedure, S.O.P., and Work Instructions/A.B.R.A.’s revision with Warehouse staff for update and/or upgrade with best practices.
    • Deep involvement and Teamwork with our people on our Warehouse/Production environment (processes and physical installations) for improvement area detection, measurement, analysis, and proposals for improvement.
    • Weekly detailed and executive progresses report to CI Manager.

    Your background

    • Student of Industrial, Manufacturing, Logistics Engineering or related.
    • Proficient in Lean tools and Logistics tools: 5 Lean Principles, VSM, Spaghetti Diagrams, Process Maps, JIT/JIS, Continuous Flow, Poka Yoke, 5S’s, Pareto, Kaizen, OEE, PDCA, TPM, Standard Work, etc.
    • Clear Understanding of Integral Logistics Focus.
    • Willingness to apply learnt disciplines at school and learning new ones.
    • Proficient in English skills, spoken and written.
    • Good interpersonal skills
