Machine Operator – 2nd shift

The role reports to the Production Supervisor and is located in Hackettstown, New Jersey. ABB continues to invest in new equipment and expansion at the Hackettstown site. Your responsibilities

• Operate heated molding presses to mold and cure products
• Inspect each piece for cosmetic flaws; use light to inspect interior of work pieces
• Trim excess flash from product using a scalpel or grinding tool as needed
• Remove molded pieces from press upon completion of cycle, remove tooling from work pieces
• Follow job Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) complete and document production record
• What we offer: $17.00 per hour plus applicable shift differential
• 3:30pm – 12:00am shift hours
• Benefits start Day 1
• New employee training in the safe operation of equipment

Your background

• High School diploma/GED
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
• Prior manufacturing experience not required
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs and perform push/pull functions
