The role reports to the Production Supervisor and is located in Hackettstown, New Jersey. ABB continues to invest in new equipment and expansion at the Hackettstown site. Come be a part of the growth! ABB Hackettstown is hiring Machine Operators at our manufacturing site.     Your responsibilities

    • Operate heated molding presses to mold and cure products
    • Inspect each piece for cosmetic flaws; use light to inspect interior of work pieces
    • Trim excess flash from product using a scalpel or grinding tool as needed
    • Remove molded pieces from press upon completion of cycle, remove tooling from work pieces
    • Follow job Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) complete and document production record
    • What we offer: $17.00 per hour plus applicable shift differential
    • 3:30pm – 12:00am shift hours
    • Benefits start Day 1
    • New employee training in the safe operation of equipment

    Your background

    • High School diploma/GED
    • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
    • Prior manufacturing experience not required
    • Ability to lift up to 40lbs and perform push/pull functions
