Our industry leading Elastimold and Fisher Pierce products are used to connect, ground, splice, terminate, and protect underground power cables. Your responsibilities

• Under minimal supervision from the machine shop supervisor, must be able to ana-lyze a variety of specifications, lay out metal stock, set up and operate machine tools, fit, and assemble parts to make or repair molds, tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, or mechanical hand tools by applying knowledge of tool design, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, machinery, and assembly procedures. Assist in maintain-ing production by repairing molds and tooling while keeping tight tolerances. Ana-lyze a variety of specifications. Set up and operate machine tools (lathe, milling machine, surface grinder, drill press, saws). Heat treat steels using shop furnace and understanding how to machine hardened steel.

Your background

• High School diploma/GED
• A minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience or similar environment
• Can work a weekend schedule as needed
• Knowledge and understanding of the various types of production equipment
• Can work up to 15 hours of overtime to meet Business Objectives
