    As a Maintenance & Facilities Manager, you will be heading a team of Maintenance, Facilities and Tool and Die professionals, assisting managers and employees to deliver a high-performing culture through clear line management accountability and a competent organization in the Electrification Installation division based in Jonesboro, Arkansas. You will provide management, technical expertise and leadership to the maintenance and facility operations in regards to office and factory buildings, grounds, equipment maintenance and operating costs, environmental compliance, and assistance to safety programs. In this role you will Work closely with other department leaders planning and prioritizing requested support based on needs of the business. Floor presence estimated to be 30-40%.

    Your responsibilities

    • Management of all maintenance and facility activities for the Jonesboro plant. Develop and manage departmental staffing and budget plans.
    • Management of all tool and die activities for the Jonesboro plant. Develop and manage departmental staffing and budget plans.
    • Development of strategic improvement plans for the facility, equipment and supporting functions (logistics, safety, environmental, etc.)
    • Develop, implement and manage a Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) program utilizing maintenance software database and provide both technical and maintenance resources to the resolution of the facility and equipment issues. This includes the upgrading and improving the process capability of factory production equipment.
    • Initiate facility-related capital requisitions and coordinate capital spending to meet current and future production requirements. Provide leadership in major plant layout improvements including the movement of major capital equipment.
    • Select bids, monitor and manage progress and costs of suppliers and contractors for facility grounds and equipment projects, coordinating activities with responsible user departments.
    • Assist, support and provide expertise to the housekeeping and safety programs including the identification of equipment, work area, and facility needs for repair, maintenance and/or upgrade and replacement.
    • Develop and provide cross training for all maintenance personnel in regards to the various aspects of the maintenance department including: Safety, TPM, robotics, environmental regulations, CNC and programmable controls, hydraulics, etc. as required.
    • Ensure operational systems are 100% functional at all times with contingency plans in place to keep flow moving in the event of system failure
    • Ensure all scheduled maintenance is performed timely and accurately
    • Actively participate in plant wide improvement projects
    • Perform, as assigned, other similar or related duties.

    Your background

    • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with Maintenance and leadership experience
    • Bachelors degree or relevant working experience in lieu of degree
    • Must be technically competent in equipment and facilities or similar surroundings. Familiarity with various types of fire protection systems, HVAC, air handling systems, building and equipment/electrical requirements/codes for the state.
    • Knowledge of factory layouts, material flow optimization, project management, systematic problem solving, TPM, regulatory management, i.e. DEP, EPA, OSHA. Exposure to manufacturing and assembly techniques, equipment and methodologies.
    • Training and knowledge in CNC and assembly equipment.
    • Knowledge of MP2 system a plus
    • The ability to manage complex issues and work in cross-functional teams
    • A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
