    Position summary

You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the German B&R Sales organization to achieve the sales targets, through high performance. The work model for the role is: Hybrid This role is contributing to the Machine Automation Divison in Friedberg. You will be mainly accountable for: • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve corporate objectives for solutions and services, ensuring alignment with identified opportunities and resource allocation. • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, taking proactive remedial actions as necessary. • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., application & service, marketing, product development) to align sales strategies with overall business goals. • Provide leadership and mentorship for regional Team Leads, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations, maintaining high standards of business ethics and integrity. • Oversee the development and execution of training programs for the sales team to enhance skills and knowledge. • Act as the primary representative of B&R to customers, embodying the company's values and ensuring a positive, solution-oriented customer experience that strengthens relationships and fosters long-term partnerships. • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows, building brand awareness and establishing strong industry connections. • Identifying and evaluating new opportunities with existing and potential customers, determines plans for implementation, and allocates required resources. • Participating in the negotiation of key contracts.
    Qualifications for the role

    • Demonstrated extensive management experience, including leading and developing large sales teams, setting strategic performance goals, and providing mentorship and support to ensure team success. A strategic mindset is essential to drive long-term business growth and adapt to market changes.
    • You have 10+ years of experience in solution sales within the automation industry, with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
    • Highly adept in contract negotiations, risk management, and commercial and legal conditions, with the ability to navigate complex sales environments and close high-value deals.
    • You possess exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a strong customer-oriented mindset and the ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
    • Proven experience in developing team members, empowering them to achieve their best, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Collaborative leadership skills are essential to support diverse teams and leverage their unique strengths.
    • Experience in leading diverse teams and a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion within the workplace.
    • Degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable field.
    • You are fluent in German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
