    Material Planner (m/f/d)

    The Material Planner handles end-to-end planning of inventory in excess of invoicing, from purchase requisition to customer invoice, assisting internal customer service inquiries. In this role you will set inventory parameters and inventory targets, while making sure that there is adequate replenishment of inventory through purchase orders.

    Your responsibilities

    • Monitor and track the complete logistics chain (from the customer order to the supplier's invoice) and initiate appropriate corrective measures, e.g. in the event of price and quantity deviations, incorrect deliveries and cancellations, and implement appropriate measures with the interfaces concerned.
    • Planning material for stock orders and non stock orders, taking into account the order situation, stock levels, delivery backlogs and delivery times and monitoring of current orders (including reminding of order confirmations and delivery dates).
    • Coordinating and agreeing with Product Marketing, e.g. regarding the product range (new products/old products), demand development and forecast, delivery problems, product relocation.
    • Maintaining all master data relevant to scheduling. (e.g. disposition parameters, prices, delivery times, quantity contracts, sales status, lot sizes).
    • Monitoring of the start and end of production as well as the consumption of products.
    • Checking and releasing orders.
    • Scheduling special measures and short-term changes (e.g. return of products, inventory differences).
    • Reviewing stocks and optimising material classification and arranging for scrapping.
    • Evaluating various key figures to optimise operational handling and processes.
    • Evaluating and presenting logistics and ordering key figures as a basis for tactical decisions.
    • Conducting regular supplier meetings as a basis for possible process improvements.
    • Active cooperation in optimising processes to increase productivity.

    Your background

    • Experience in Material Planning
    • Knowledge of SAP/MM, APO and Microsoft Office Package
    • Min.3 year professional qualification (e.g. as an industrial clerk) or equivalent
    • Fluent in German and English
