Mechanical Project Engineer

This role is fundamental to convert customer orders to drawings and BOMs that comply with customer requirements. The role of Project Engineer is crucial for the actual development of the product sold by ABB.

This position reports to

Engineering Manager I

Your responsibilities

• Modeling creation, interference detection and 2D & 3D modeling.
• Creation of Bills of Materials.
• Design adequate according with the requirements of the products from the customer specifications (Design concepts).
• Assist customer on questions/comments regarding his product.
• Coaches’ new engineers to learn the products faster.

Your background

• Bachelor´s Degree in Mechanical (desirable), Electro-Mechanical, Mechanical-Electrician Engineering or related.
• 2 years of experience in similar position.
• Knowledge in Solid works (sheet metal), CREO (sheet metal) and AutoCAD.
• Deep knowledge of Low Voltage MCC plus Low Voltage Switchgear.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Excel Macros) and SAP.
• Advanced level of English.
