MES Application Specialist- P&P

This is a MES Application Specialist- P&P role, reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager in Business Area - India Operations Centre, Process Automation (INOPC PA) based in Bangalore, India. You will be primarily responsible to execute assignments of low complexity, as per agreed timeline and standard using established solutions. Support in development of technical expertise solutions and services.

Your responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting project team in articulating the value proposition of products/solutions sold to their customers
• Working with consultant to identify client’s as is business processes
• Can be supporting multiple customers simultaneously
• Collaborating with clients to implement new business processes as sold in the delivery project
• Overseeing the Application Consultant Design and Implementation to ensure that customer business goals are met
• On-Time and On-Budget Rollouts on New and Life Cycle Projects without sacrificing overall high customer satisfaction
• Personal integrity

Your background

• IT/ Chemical engineering with relevant experience of 10 to 12 years
• ERP / MES (Manufacturing Execution System) – knowledge and understanding of Manufacturing domain
• Preferable from Paper/ discrete Industry background
• Good logic & communication
• Exposure to various MES applications for discrete processes
• Working with Pulp & paper industry applications & knowledge of any DCS/PLC/SCADA applications will be an added advantage
• Software Programming & Database Knowledge is nice to have
