Based in the city of Québec and reporting to the supervisor of modified standard products (MSP) team, the MSP test and integration technician supports the business unit in the completion of the modified standard products projects destined for specific applications according to customer requirements. You will be part of a dynamic and stimulating multidisciplinary team where you will perform various tasks, while ensuring the respect and continuous improvement of our methodology, tools, and work processes.

    Your responsibilities

    • Perform optical, mechanical and electronic assembly of our special ICOS (Off-Axis Integrated Cavity Output Spectroscopy) analyzers.
    • Carry out the start-up of the systems and perform the application tests, making sure that you fully understand the test plan produced by application scientists.
    • Work closely with the project team made up of engineers and scientists for the development of test plans.
    • Contribute by proposing ideas for solving solutions to technical problems.
    • Responsible for the calibrations of laboratory equipment.
    • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe laboratory environment.

    Your background

    • Diploma of vocational training in one of the following fields: industrial electronics, automated systems electromechanics.
    • Have 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Experience in assembling opto-mechanical and electronic systems is an asset.
    • Knowledge of industrial design software is an asset.
    • Able to produce technical documents.
    • Be able to read and understand electrical diagrams.
    • Good knowledge of MS Office suite.
    • Good command of functional French and English (spoken and written).
    • Passionate about technology, curious and enjoy technical challenges.
    • Rigorous and strong concern for quality in his work.
    • Strong commitment to safe work practices and compliance with workplace safety rules.
    • Ability to work with pressurized gases is an asset.
