    As a developer, you play an important role in proposing and implementing technology development and solutions. You will execute product development tasks – with a focus on cyber-security-relevant functionality – for the My Control System (MCS) platform. MCS is a service-orientated product within the process automation area that enables customers to visualize and analyze control system performance, software, security and lifecycle status. To do this, we combine cyber security-relevant capabilities with the latest technologies to deliver added value for our customers. As a .NET Full Stack Developer, you will be a member of an agile team based in Kraków or Lódź. Our flexible working model promotes work-life balance and offers options to collaborate with your team in person and remotely in hybrid model. You will be working in a cross-functional team that operates in an international environment. Your team is part of the huge R&D stream which operates using the Scaled Agile Framework and offers a large network of technology experts.

    Your responsibilities

    • Follow and promote agile practices while developing professional software products as part of a team. Work collaboratively in an international environment to solve problems and meet development targets
    • Oversee the full range of activities relating to software engineering, including requirement analysis, specification of architecture and design, implementation, drawing up and performing unit test procedures for module testing, etc.
    • Ensuring that projects are aligned with targets and coordinating activities with the team and applying R&D processes and tools
    • Understanding what creates customer value and working to improve operations and customer satisfaction
    • Actively follow and apply current trends and best practices in software development, technologies, and ABB standards to build high-quality products
    • Proactively find and suggest technical solutions for improvements in project delivery and customer experience

    Your background

    • Technical university education preferably with proven work experience in agile development and delivery projects
    • Professional experience in backend development using ASP.NET Core functionality stack. Understanding the requirements towards the backend from the front-end point of view
    • Knowledge of application architecture and development in .NET/Service Oriented models
    • Experience with PaaS components of Microsoft Azure
    • With programming languages, tools, and frameworks like ASP.NET Core, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Power BI, and REST you have experience
    • Understands the importance of cyber security and requirements for industrial software
    • A solution-focused approach with strong written and spoken communication skills
    • Knowledge of Typescript, Angular, Docker, and Kubernetes preferred
