    As a NPI Project Manager Leader for Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China, you will be responsible for Robotics New Product Introduction (NPI) project launching process locally and align it with global team.

    This position reports to

    Project Operations Manager

    Your responsibilities

    • Following New Product Development (NDP) process and Gate Model to drive process continuous improvement
    • Building NPI project manager team within the factory and host local steco review meeting to secure necessary resource support
    • Working with R&D and SCM PM team owner to drive continuous improvement in cross functional cooperation to meet OTD of project delivery
    • Driving project management efficiency & cost improvement by adopting digital tool
    • Submitting and presenting reports on overall project status on monthly base. Reporting progress, results, risk evaluation and mitigation plan
    • Managing other type of projects such as transfer projects between factories in the globe, Cost cut project, process optimization etc.

    Your background

    • A Bachelor of Science in Engineering, project management experience
    • Better to have manufacturing related experience, such as process engineer, quality control, Production process etc.
    • Fluent communication of English and Chinese, both written and spoken
    • Good awareness on the key to the success of the project and clearly knows how to achieve it by action
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to express a subject clearly and understandable and to persuade others.
    • Ability to adjust or adapt to changed situations, problems and tasks quickly
    • Team Leadership skills, good at using personal charisma to lead the team fulfill the targets
