    Operational Excellence and Financial Process Improvement Specialist

    You will be a key member of the finance team within the Front office in Canada /Quebec / Ville St-Laurent. Reporting to the Front Office Finance Manager you will provide support to the business, while working with Centers of Excellence and with the Canadian Front Office Finance Team. Most of your work will focus on special projects and process improvements, a small portion will focus on routine financial and non-financial reporting. You will also be documenting and maintaining standard operating procedures and ensuring that they are safeguarded, communicated and available.

    Your responsibilities

    • Participate in special projects such as business integrations, acquisitions, finance tool implementations and ERP upgrades.
    • Lead/Participate in user acceptance testing activities, document test cases and record test results
    • Develop, implement, and maintain accounting processes and procedures, continuously optimize them to gain efficiency, simplify processes, and adapt to accounting policy changes.
    • Maintain the Country’s Finance share points and web portal.
    • Support the Finance team by providing recommendations on how to meet the needs of internal customers and fulfil targets set by the Global Finance lead and local management.
    • Prepare and maintain onboarding and training documents for new finance members
    • Prepare financial and non-financial monthly and quarterly reporting such as KPI
    • Contribute to the knowledge transfer of best practices within the team

    Your background

    • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is an asset, accounting knowledge required.
    • Problem-solving skills, highly organized with good planning abilities.
    • Leadership, dynamism, great communication skills, autonomy, and self-starter.
    • Change management and process improvement skills, six sigma training is an asset.
    • Experience in large complexes organization.
    • SAP experience is an asset, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI.
