    Are you passionate about the field of order handling and customer service? Get ready to join our Electrification Service Division as an Order Handling Specialist in Baden or Zuzwil SG (Switzerland), ensuring that spare parts order and maintenance contracts are executed well while meeting customer satisfaction, quality, and time parameters. You will also support the Project Managers in revenue generation as well as optimizing the project costs. Reporting to the Head of Project Management Service you will maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to bring in your ideas and creative proposals fostering our continuous improvement culture.

    Your responsibilities

    • Take over customer inquiries for spare parts, maintenance work and take over the order handling for these orders
    • Responsible to manage maintenance contracts by coordinating internal resources and align with customer requests
    • Customer support before and after order booking, especially in case of complaints (e.g. delivery date complaints, order changes, cancellations, questions regarding deliveries, invoices, etc.)
    • Create and track customer satisfaction survey within the department
    • Ensure that the order booking and revenue generation are executed in line with best practices and ABB policy
    • Updating project cost adjustments, approved by the Project Manager and Controller, in relevant Project Controls systems
    • Monitoring, controlling, and releasing requests for invoicing (incl. credit notes), based on instructions from the Project Manager
    • regular tracking of payment transactions and deliveries

    Your background

    • Completed commercial apprenticeship with ideally further training in order handling (additional technical knowledge/understanding is a plus)
    • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
    • Experience in SAP
    • Basic knowledge and experience in customer service
    • A proactive, solution-focused, open minded and reliable team player with strong written and spoken communication skills
    • German as a mother langue, French speaking is considered as a plus and English for internal communication is preferred
