Your responsibilities
- You are responsible to creates, implements, monitors, and reviews AC Business and local strategy.
- You are the owner of the site supply planning process. Provides visibility local supply objectives into the Hub/PG S&OP process of site’s ability to support the demand plan.
- You run a short-term planning process, connecting planning with execution. Coordinate an appropriate response to unplanned events. Support the profitable execution of customer orders, in coordination with project management, engineering, manufacturing and procurement. Ensures the resolution of customer issues (e.g., order, technical, payment) by coordinating with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain Management, and other internal and/or external teams. Coordinates resolution with After-Sales Service and/or Spare Parts teams.
- You are responsible to recommend appropriate solution for special customer requests, and coordinates with related teams to ensure the complete handling of the request (e.g. resourcing, quotes, price lists, invoice) is in place.
- You provide local leadership for the development of best practices in planning systems and integrated ERPs.
- You lead and contributes to cross-functional initiatives for optimizing customer on-time delivery, lead-time, inventory, resource utilization, and forecast accuracy. Use Lean six sigma tools whenever applicable. Collaborate with other units in the end-to-end supply chain.
- You establish regular reports and statistics of the customer support process. Reviews and analyzes performance against standards and prepares improvement plans.
- You lead local planning function and ensures (with HR Manager support) that local planning teams are properly organized, staffed, and skilled and directed. Guides, motivates, and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, for the benefit of both ABB and the employee. Drives and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration
Your background
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Relevant field or equivalent skill level;
- You have minimum 5 years work experience in similar role with proven managerial role experience.
- You have solid understanding of supply chain and logistic; forecasting and budgeting
- You have working knowledge of SAP and proficient in MS Office
- You have good analytical mind with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- You have outstanding communication and leadership skills.
- You are a clear verbal communicator in English and Dutch is a plus.
