    Power electronic hardware engineer

    As a member of power electronics team for E-Mobility Business Area in Shenzhen, you will be responsible for the hardware design, localization, and sustain in China for the power module of electrical vehicle charger infrastructure products.

    This position reports to

    R&D Senior Engineer

    Your responsibilities

    • Finishing the design, debugging, testing, and manufacturing of the power module of EV Charger
    • Documenting and archiving all hardware deliverables in each gate and maintain these files
    • Ensuring adherence to ABB integrity and safety rules and regulations

    Your background

    • A master’s or bachelor’s degree in power electronics, electrical engineering, automation control etc.
    • Master’s degree above 1 years’ (>3years for a bachelor’s degree) experience in an electrical position in the field of power electronics, international company with China design presence background is preferred
    • Have experience in UPS, rectifier, motor drive, solar power etc. high-power application. DC charger power module hardware design background will be preferred
    • Computer skills (MS-Office, Outlook)
    • Good understanding of power components design includes but not limited to power semiconductor, magnetic, driver, relays, etc.
    • Good Chinese communication skill, good English reading and writing skill
