    For the Robotics&Discrete Automation Business, we are looking for a process specialist specialized in Robotic Welding. You will execute medium to high complex service work according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. You will deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers. In close co-operation with customer and other ABB teams, take actions to identify new Service business opportunities for ABB.

    Your responsibilities

    • Carry out commissioning of AW systems and hold training courses. Upgrade and modernization of existing AW installed base.
    • Welding process optimization. Deal with electrical, mechanical, software and welding process related problems.
    • Support the business growth introducing new technologies both in term of welding processes and state of the art robot sensors or programming technologies.
    • Support new system business and after sales pro-active initiatives. Provide technical support via emails/phone from the office.
    • Comply with the company’s Safety and Integrity procedures and standards.

    Your background

    • A technical diploma/degree in a technical field, preferably in mechanics, electric/electronics, information technology.
    • Knowledge of robotized AW process and power sources. Previous experience in commissioning / servicing AW robotics products, automation or industrial machineries.
    • Basic knowledge of robot/PLC programming.
    • Good knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel and strong analysis skills and the right attitude for problem solving.
    • The ability to manage alone the repairs / commissioning on-site. Willingness to travel extensively (by car, mainly in Italy).
    • Easiness to manage the relation with the customer.
    • Good knowledge of English language.
