Procurement and Logistics Specialist

You will be working as Procurement and Logistics Specialist and will be part of Motion business area for NEMA motors division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Procurement Team Lead and will be responsible to support the implementation, maintenance, compliance of procurement practice approved activities and executing assigned activities based on the standard procedures.

Your responsibilities

• Initiating supply orders in the system, confirms delivery with suppliers, monitors, and tracks supplier performance to purchase order requirements
• Conducting all supply chain activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures
• Tracking goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensuring invoice process as per available guidelines
• Applying and implementing PL standards, tools, and processes in responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability
• Creating and updating reports, as required, following the ABB standards and performing transactional, order confirmation activities and follow up with vendors for material status to ensure timely supply
• Standardizing processes and implementing routines as per Group directives/instructions

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree in any field (BE/BTech – Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical) with prior supply chain experience
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in end-to-end procurement activities, SAP Module is must
• Advanced excel knowledge would be added advantage
