Procurement and Logistics Specialist (m/f/d)

In this role you are implementing effective sourcing strategies to ensure that suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements. You will drive excellence in the execution of purchasing and logistics strategies that aid the business by optimizing costs, quality and reliability of suppliers and supplied products. This position is initially limited to 2 years.

Procurement Manager
Your responsibilities
- Supplier selection and qualification as well as continuous supply chain management
- Identifying, assessing and controlling supplier risks
- Contract design and negotiation
- Identification of cost reduction potentials and management of
- corresponding projects
- Inquiry, negotiation and awarding of new and existing materials
- Ensure top-quality supply including the implementation of problem-solving processes
- Escalation management in the event of disruptions in operational procurement
- Lead/support of supplier audits
- Participation in cross-functional and global procurement projects and teams
Your background
- At least 2 years of experience in procurement
- Bachelor or Master degree in business engineering or similar
- Basic knowledge in SAP MM desirable
- Affinity for IT tools such as SAP Ariba and Power BI
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach as well as strong written and spoken communication skills
- Ability to relate to customers and establish resilient business relationships
- Strong negotiation skills and good knowledge of contract design
- Fluent in German and English
- High flexibility and willingness to travel internationally (up to 15%)
