Procurement Specialist

You will be working as Procurement Specialist and will be part of Electrification business for Distribution Solutions division based in Nashik, India. In this role you will be reporting to Procurement Manager and will be responsible for supporting the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of Procurement practice approved activities. Executing assigned activities based on the standard procedures.

Your responsibilities

• Designing and implementing plans for local sourcing to reach the business targets
• Applying and implementing PL standards, tools, and processes in the area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability
• Creating and updating reports, as required, following the ABB standards
• Executing and implementing new directions within the area of responsibility
• Delivering and participating in training programs as required for compliance and professional development
• Executing effective and transparent communication internally, externally and between different units and centers

Your background

• Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical
• Require 5+ years of experience
• Experience into procurement of Copper and Aluminium commodity
• Collaborative mindset with excellent written and oral communication in English
