Our Emergency Lighting manufacturing facility in Dorval, Canada is hiring a Master Data Specialist. We are looking for a motivated, highly skilled, and experienced Database Expert to join the Product management team. Reporting to the Product and Marketing manager, North America, you will be maintaining existing database structures to leverage data fully.

    Your responsibilities

    • Ensures that Master Data is maintained efficiently and accurately in all systems within the scope of responsibility.
    • Understands the impact of the Master Data maintained and provides guidance to others regarding Master Data.
    • Documents, reviews, and updates all work procedures pertaining to all aspects of system maintenance.
    • Maintain price books and configurator tools in collaboration with product managers and the pricing team.

    Your background

    • Technical College Diploma., or Bachelor's degree in engineering, documentation or related field of study
    • 2 to 5 years experience in a similar position.
    • Excellent ability to work in multiple databases and ensure database integrity and compliance.
    • Ability to anticipate issues and impacts related to the needs of different users; internal and external.
    • Ability to understand the hierarchy of products according to the different options available.
    • Be rigorous and have excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
    • Willing to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.
    • Any training related to electrical components would be an asset.
    • Bilingualism would be highly considered.
