In this role you will be responsible for initiating and leading the development and execution of a profitable growth expansion of our new Canadian ELIP resale business, with the aspiration to double the business over the next 3 years. This position will partner closely with the Product Management, Engineering, SCM, Operations and the Sales teams to define and flawlessly execute a strategy that focuses on accretive bolt-on products to increase the breadth of our portfolio. Plans and implements product strategies to meet business objectives in line with local product strategy and division go to market strategy.

    Your responsibilities

    • Leading a team consisting of cross discipline functions (product management, SCM, Ops/Certification) that will help develop and implement the plan and deliver the desired results.
    • Collaborating with peers in Sales, Product Management, Operations, Distribution, Pricing, Commercial Ops., Finance and Engineering, as well as global peers, to develop and implement an impactful strategy.
    • Taking accountability for end-to-end P&L accountability of the resale business, and ensuring profitability is in line with business goals is to ensure ability to fulfil customer orders. Tracking and analyzes product/system/service performance and trends.
    • Researching and evaluating the market, trends and opportunities. Identifying portfolio gaps and defining plans to double the business over the next 3 years.
    • Being responsible for the product road map, managing new products/system/service launch and life cycle from phase-in to phase-out.
    • Developing and managing execution of all business cases while ensuring collaboration with Research & Development (R&D), supply chain and operations in order to reduce time to market for new products and systems.
    • Collaborating with internal Marketing and Sales teams to define the marketing plan, including marketing communication activities, training activities and sales initiatives.
    • Overseeing inventory levels and sales volumes on a regular basis to ensure ability to fulfil customer orders. Tracking and analyzing product/system/service performance and trends.

    Your background

    • BS/BA in engineering or operations management is required.
    • Min. 5 years of experience in developing a resale strategy
    • Min. 5 years of experience in electrical industry experience
    • Strong entrepreneurship, project management, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communications skills both written and verbal; bilingual.
    • Experience in manufacturing sector (asset).
