Product Engineer

In this role you will be responsible of product and process engineering for ABB Service Products. You will ensure the best practice, continuous improvements and assistance in the production activities.

This position reports to

R&D Team Lead

Your responsibilities

• Ensure the appropriate booster to the LV Product Engineer department.
• Manage new project already scheduled.
• Ensure appropriate technical maintenance to existing products.
• Support operations and suppliers.
• Drive relevant business project as OPEX, POD, Shortage, etc.

Your background

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (5 years).
• Knowledge of manufacturing technologies. Basics of Electronics.
• A very good knowledge of MS Office, 2D/3D CAD systems.
• Experience in Product a/o Process engineering in circuit breakers development, or similar, is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
• Six Sigma Green Belt competences (certified).
• Very good knowledge of English language.
• Positive spirit, proactivity, team working, speediness and problem solving orientation; commitment to deliver results by taking responsibility to execute assigned tasks and projects.
