As a Product Engineer, you will optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes and equipment in order to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs and safety.
This position reports to
Project Manager
Your responsibilities
- Defining the sequence of the production process in line with material and investment budgets.
- Ensuring optimal efficiency in production methods, equipment performance and materials/components.
- Identifying and implementing improvements to the manufacturing process in line with cost, safety and timing requirements.
- Investigating new methods, technologies and changes in equipment and process design to meet specifications.
- Defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources and personnel to ensure smooth implementation of new processes and a skilled, competent team.
- Consulting and working with production operators and supervisors to implement changes on the production line.
Your background
- Bachelor´s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanic, Electric and Mechatronic Engineer or related.
- 3 years of experience as Product Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer.
- Experience with assembly, stamping or painting processes.
- Knowledge of MS Office, SAP and AutoCAD or similar.
- Sound knowledge of manufacturing products.
- Knowledge of Project Management.
- Advanced English.
