Product Manager - Motors and Generator Service

Working as a Product Manager, you will be a key member of the marketing and sales team in Motion, defining marketing plans, including marketing communication, training and sales initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting business results by overseeing all steps in the product service lifecycle including development, launch, maintenance, pricing and profitability.

Your responsibilities

• Work with global product management for oversight on maintenance reading SOW (​Statement of Work (Service Description)) for Motors and Generators
• Implement Modernization planning for Large Motors for US Market
• Works to develop service and lifecycle service products from phase in to phase out for motors and generator service
• Responsible for the profitability and life cycle of the service line by defining market position and market needs
• Tracks and analyzes service performance and trends in terms of volume and profitability
• Works with portfolio team(s) across the different product manufacturing businesses to identify product service needs and implement service products to meet those needs
• Develops or works with factory product team to develop technical requirements for reporting for all motors and generator services across the service portfolio

Your background

• Bachelors Degree in Business or Engineering, with 8 years of experience working as a Product Manager
• Knowledge of motors and generator service a plus
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
