Product Marketing Specialist - Distribution Automation Products/Solutions

You will be working as Product Marketing Specialist - Distribution Automation Products/Solutions and will be the part of Electrification business area for Distribution Solutions division based in Cairo, Egypt. In this role you will be reporting to Product Marketing Director and will be responsible to support ELDS M&S organization and PMD in implementing product marketing strategies in the local market for ELDS, determine the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions, prepare technical descriptions of the applied products and technology to support the prescription process and serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area
Your responsibilities
- Working effectively to promote offering distribution automation products and solutions range in the local market
- Building up the country marketing plan showing product positioning, market analysis, market mapping, strategy planning for market coverage and action plan, following GPG CPP templates and having a periodic follow-up for the market update through the year
- Implementing the local go-to-market product marketing strategy, including definition and communication of product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy
- Supporting sales organization to promote the product portfolio and assist in the assigned targets for the country related to OEM sales channel in distribution automation products and sales segments in automation solutions projects
- Conducting technical trainings and product awareness sessions for internal channels and external customers, promoting product technical features to the market and work on specification influences and extended in events participations where we address the message to the right audience
- Providing GPG marketing manager with reports, business outlook and business intelligence, approvals and homologation of product in the country is a part of your responsibility
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensuring that they are communicated and implemented within all activities and ensuring that competences are fully implemented locally in PMD organization
Your background
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the field of marketing and sales at MV distribution automation products / solutions
- A knowledge of MV applications, products is a must
- Fluency in English language is mandatory
