    Product Marketing Specialist (m/f/d)

    In this role, you will define, plan and ensure implementation of value-based product specific marketing topics for PLC (programmable logic controllers) products, meeting business targets and aligning with global product strategy.

    Your responsibilities

    • You will support on planning and ensuring the know-how and best practice sharing for reaching key stakeholders with multiple communication channels, sharing them via external and internal social media channels.
    • You will lead the overall activities on marketing content stream for social media within PLC products, connecting with the activities with our key partner divisions.
    • Support in formalizing product value proposition and messaging for PLC/Drives product bundles in the strategic target markets with strong focus on selected industries/applications for industrial automation.
    • Support in generating new content for digital marketing and web pages.
    • Support in generating and maintaining new and current product web pages.
    • Support in identifying new customer references and success stories in close collaboration with related local sales units (storytelling approach).
    • Evaluating and disseminating customer research, market conditions and studies of competitors.
    • You will lead on regular newsletter/update for global sales organization.
    • Creating and maintaining product marketing material in collaboration with suppliers.
    • Critical to success: develop strong internal and external relationships with ABB sales team, ABB channels, end customers and other ABB businesses field resources with special focus on end customer.

    Your background

    • Background in Marketing Communications, Technical Journalism, Product Marketing Product Management or Sales and experience in B2B industrial sales considered advantageous.
    • Demonstrated experience in development and implementation of marketing strategy.
    • Solid university degree in a technical discipline and good understanding of industrial automation, including industrial communication and Programmer Logic Controls would be an advantage.
    • Practical experience in the field would be very beneficial.
    • Knowledge and experience of OEM and/or distribution business in industrial automation.
    • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong interpersonal and multicultural communication skills, as well as relationship-building skills.
    • Experiences with web-page design/communication would be beneficial.
    • Excellent skills in written and spoken English, other languages are an advantage.
