    Product Marketing Specialist - Residential Solutions

    Working within the Smart Buildings division UK, you will be responsible for implementing product marketing strategies in your assigned area to meet business objectives. In this role you will coordinate marketing activities and support the sales organization in driving sales and services of Building Automation Solutions, Wiring Accessories & Consumer Units.

    Your responsibilities

    • Strategy – Implements the local go-to market product marketing strategy, including definition and communication of product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy.
    • Targets – Achieves product marketing targets and budgets through regular oversight and definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed.
    • Business Plans – Executes annual marketing plan in conjunction with relevant Business Units/Product Groups. Prepares business plans focused on business development for a defined market.
    • Analysis – Coordinates market analyses with Sales team members and defines appropriate forecasts and plans. Evaluates and shares customer research, market conditions and competitor data.
    • Sales – Oversees sales execution for assigned products by providing relevant materials and guidance to Sales team(s).
    • Training – Drives sales efficiency by delivering appropriate product knowledge information and training (technical and sales) for each Salesperson. Facilitates know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.

    Your background

    • Electrical Qualification, Degree level or HNC.
    • Experience and familiarity of the ABB Smart Buildings portfolio
    • A minimum of 3 years in a similar role and experience in a Sales and/or Product management.
    • Knowledge of Building Automation Solutions.
    • Knowledge of UK Buildings Regulations – Electrical.
    • Marketing / Design / Product launch experience.
    • E-Commerce experience.
    • Understanding of Wiring Accessories market.
