As part of system drives’ quality department, our quality & reliability-team is looking for a highly motivated and well experienced Product Quality & Reliability Engineer who will be operating in a complex corporate environment with numerous interfaces and stakeholders at various levels. As the main point of contact for internal customers (engineering team), you’ll be taking full responsibility for proactive product, component and system quality and reliability engineering, as well as for component, software and system Qualification. This in close collaboration with our local factory as well as with global responsible. Quality ＆ Reliability Manager

Your responsibilities

• Analyzing and solving complex component, product or system quality issues with latest methodologies (8D, L6S, FMEA)
• Analysis of quality and failure data (installed base, manufacturing & suppliers)
• Defining and driving product quality and reliability improvements
• Supporting the customer support and product engineering team in all quality and reliability issues
• Leading product component qualification projects
• Reviewing and assessing new product developments with respect to quality & reliability

Your background

• At least Bachelor’s Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
• 3+ years of experience in electric drive systems field
• Lean 6-sigma certification is a plus
• Project management skills
• High degree of intercultural awareness
• Knowledge in ABB’s Products (can be obtained through ABB Internal training)
• Fluent in English, German is plus
