    Product Specialist

    ABB Smart Buildings digitally transforms commercial, industrial and residential buildings for the highest comfort, efficiency, safety and security - enhancing quality of life in buildings of the future through safe, smart and sustainable electrification solutions, services and products. Working in the Smart Buildings product marketing team, you will be working with internal teams to maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction. In this role, you will perform activities to assist in the development, launch, maintenance, and profitability of NEMA components (loadcenters, low voltage transformers, meterstacks and more) in Canada

    Your responsibilities

    • Helping to resolve customers’ issues with loadcenters, low voltage transformers, meterstacks and more — which may involve visiting customer sites
    • Identifying new loadcenters, low voltage transformers, meterstacks and more development or enhancements, and creating innovative solutions to meet customers’ needs
    • Delivering training in new loadcenters, low voltage transformers, meterstacks and more to internal teams and customers
    • Preparing price lists and quotes for review and approval
    • Preparing reports on market, product and competitor activities for the sales and marketing team
    • Working with others to define marketing plans and tools, while promoting sales activities

    Your background

    • 8-10 years of experience in low voltage products and systems working as product manager/product specialist with loadcenters, low voltage transformers, meterstacks and other low voltage products.
    • Demonstrated experience of marketing and sales strategy
    • Sound knowledge of loadcenters, low voltage transformers, meterstacks and more and the Canadian market
    • Knowledge and experience of Salesforce, and basic SAP knowledge
    • A collaborative, solution-focused approach with strong communication and relationship-building skills
    • A B.Sc. in electrical engineering
    • English and French are preferable
    • Must be eligible to work in Canada.
