Working in the Energy Industries division, based in Turgi, Switzerland, you will be cooperating with international teams to maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction in our worldwide applied solutions for electrical power generation. Reporting to the Head of Product Support, you will perform various product and life cycle activities to assist in the development, launch, maintenance, and profitability of UNITROL, MEGATROL and SYNCHROTACT products.

Your responsibilities

• Technical support for ABB experts worldwide, ABB business partners and End customers with Salesforce as the CRM (Customer relationship management) platform.
• Technical assistance of sales and product management
• (e.g., pre-engineering, product improvements, product engineering, life cycle solutions, remote access etc.).
• Leading resolution teams and handling the customer communication for support cases where different stakeholders (e.g., System experts, R&D, Quality etc.) build a resolution team according to severity, complexity, and urgency.
• Supporting customer in digital transformation (e.g., augmented reality, cyber security, digital twin).
• Supporting ABB University with face to face or digital trainings for customers.
• Participation in ensuring 24/7 availability of remote supportline.

Your background

• Bachelor or master’s in electrical engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in field service or engineering with Power Generation System know how, Embedded Software and Control Hardware plus Power Electronics (Experience with excitation systems is an advantage).
• Fluency in English, any other languages are an asset.
• Intrinsic attitude to drive innovation and improvement.
• Proven organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• High sense of responsibility and commitment.
• High degree of intercultural awareness.
