    Product Specialist - Surge Protection

    Working in the global product management team as a product specialist responsible for surge protection devices, you will be working with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction. In this role, you will perform various product related activities to assist in the development, the launch, the life cycle, and the profitability of surge protection devices in the UK, Middle East & Asia Pacific.

    Your responsibilities

    • Helping to resolve customers’ issues with surge protection — which may involve visiting customer sites.
    • Identifying new product opportunities, development, or enhancements, and creating innovative solutions to meet customers’ needs.
    • Delivering product training on new surge protection devices to internal teams and customers.
    • Preparing price lists and quotes for review and approval.
    • Preparing reports on market, product and competitor activities for the sales and marketing team.
    • Working with others to define marketing plans and tools, while promoting sales activities.

    Your background

    • Minimum 1 years of experience in electrical and/or electronics, working as an intern or a first full time employment role with knowledge of PCB’s and components relevant to surge protection or similar products or technologies an advantage.
    • Demonstrated experience of product marketing and sales strategy.
    • Knowledge and experience of project management or as a product engineer would be advantageous.
    • A collaborative, solution-focused approach with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
    • A specific degree, qualification, or certification in electrical and/or electronics.
    • English language skill(s) and proficiency in word, excel, powerpoint.
