    Production and Process Quality Engineer

    We are looking for a new addition to our global robotics manufacturing centre (EDP - Engineering Delivery Platform) in Mosnov to expand our existing team as a "Manufacturing and Process Quality Engineer". In this position, you will be part of a global unit that is focused on the production of robotic workstations. This position is associated with the development of the quality management system across the organisation, including setting up processes and communication channels. As part of this position, you will be an active member and mentor in quality training and creating company culture.     Your responsibilities

    • Conducting audits in manufacturing, including product audits
    • Performing in-process, inter-process and out-process quality control
    • You will be the owner of the "stop production" proces
    • You will proactively resolve quality issues related to production (linked to Product Quality Support)
    • You will cover FPY (First Pass Yield) and drive process improvements
    • You will create and maintain checklists within TQC (inspection plans)
    • Create process maps and optimize existing processes
    • Actively participate in 5S audits
    • You manage non-conforming product, including the impact on suppliers, and give incentives to SQE
    • Participate in the ECO (Engineering Change Order) process
    • Resolve technical issues during manufacturing and testing
    • You actively look for areas for improvement and implement them (Kaizen, Lean 6 Sigma)
    • You manage and monitor internal improvements
    • You actively collaborate with the production department on improvement proposals
    • Participate in the creation of internal documents (work instructions, quality forms)
    • Participate in FMEA
    • Participate in improvement projects
    • Cooperate with other departments across ABB
    • You are responsible for the compliance of contractors with HSE / OHS / Environmental protection rules

    Your background

    • Technical background
    • Previous experience in quality, process or manufacturing engineering
    • English at a communicative level (min. B1)
    • You are familiar with drawing documentation
    • Knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, PPAP, 8D, 5Why, CCRP, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke)
    • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 19011 standards
    • Experience in input/output control
    • Knowledge/experience in metrology
    • Competence in performing visual and dimensional inspection
    • Experience with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook, PowerPoint)
    • Experience with SAP
    • You are proactive in problem solving
    • Technical mindset
    • Knowledge of Lean 6 Sigma (Yellow belt) is an advantage
    • Experience with Value Stream Mapping is an advantage
    • Experience with Industrial Engineering is an advantage
