    Production Development Manager

    As a Production Development Manager, you will drive improvements in production of specify products in the Electrification Business in Mexico. In this role your focus will be on optimizing the manufacturing process through innovation in a cost-effective way.

    This position reports to

    Production Development Manager

    Your responsibilities

    • Defining the sequence of the production process in line with material and investment budgets.
    • Ensuring optimal efficiency in production methods, equipment performance and materials/components.
    • Identifying and implementing improvements to the manufacturing process in line with cost, safety and timing requirements.
    • Investigating new methods, technologies and changes in equipment and process design to meet specifications.
    • Defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources and personnel to ensure smooth implementation of new processes and a skilled, competent team.
    • Consulting and working with production operators and supervisors to implement changes on the production line.

    Your background

    • Bachelor´s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechatronic Engineering or Master's degree in manufacturing processes (plus).
    • 5 years of experience in a similar role.
    • Demonstrated experience working on a production line. (Supervisory experience is an advantage.).
    • Experience leading blue and white collar work groups.
    • Knowledge of continuous improvement.
    • Belt certifications.
    • Technical knowledge in steel and copper manufacturing processes.
    • A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
    • Advanced English Level.
