Production Development Specialist

As a Production Development Specialist for Motion Business Area in Shanghai, China, you will be aiming to explore the best practices inside or outside ABB, working together with global advanced manufacturing team to optimize and improve the manufacturing process and system.

Production Engineering Manager

Your responsibilities

• Providing timely technical support for production. Cooperate with production, QC and other ABB function colleagues to solve the process quality issues (especially, the issues which are exposed from the interruption system) to ensure the delivery
• Developing standardized manufacturing operation process. Follow the global manufacture instructions and prepare local version instructions, documents and SOP. Training and qualify operators to ensure they have proper skill to produce correct product
• Preparing and effectively implement the process audit plan. For each audit, there should be an objective and accurate report
• Leading the PPS analysis and leading some internal projects to solve the temporary occurrence of important quality or technical problems
• Being responsible for new product and new manufactured technology introduction. Manage all the NPI project activities from the project planning to the product production in local factory successfully
• Providing technical support for some other departments like front-end sales, customer complaints, supply chain and project management to improve internal and external customer satisfaction

Your background

• Rich experience in production field
• At least 3 years working experience in mechanical field
• Solid knowledge of industrial engineering, mechanical, continuous improvement, etc.
• Have strong systematic thinking and problem-solving ability
• Be good at Office, AutoCAD
• Have the knowledge of electrical machine. be familiar with the process of electrical machine manufacture
• A bachelor’s degree and above in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical or similar major
• Strong Communication & Negotiation Skills
• Fluent in Mandarin and English
