    Production Development Specialist

    As a Production Development Specialist for Electrification Business Area in Xiamen, China, you will be responsible for defining the working phase sequence of a new production process in order to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget.

    This position reports to

    Production Engineering Manager

    Your responsibilities

    • Ensuring appropriate production methods, cycle-time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets
    • Identifying and recommending improvement opportunities and implements improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality and cost requirements
    • Ensuring the production process complies with the project targets. Approves the design for processes developed internally or externally, and performs final tests with respect to the project
    • Providing support to Production during the internal/external process/equipment start-up, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources
    • Evaluating new process technologies to improve productivity, quality and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria and external provider choices

    Your background

    • A Bachelor & master’s degree and above in mechanical engineering and automation
    • Experience with industrial efficiency
    • Strong willingness to learn the new technology and implement, can work under multi-task
    • Good at Microsoft office
    • Good at English reading and writing, basic oral English
    • At least 5 years working experience
