    Production Engineer

    You will be working as Production Engineer and will be the part of Electrification business area for Smart Buildings division based in Cairo, Egypt. In this role you will be reporting to LV Operations Lead and will be responsible to define the production routings, bill of material and tools to ensure an effective and efficient production in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings and quality and safety standards and policies and support the continuous improvement activities

    Your responsibilities

    • Organizing and allocating resources to effectively and efficiently meet line production targets, responding to resource issues as necessary and leading capacity planning and resource optimization for the assigned unit or line
    • Defining the production line balance, calculating the takt of the line, define the routings, tools and BOM, collecting the production stops, calculating OEE and analyze root causes of productivity and ROTD loss and defining corrective actions
    • Identifying and recommending technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary, identifying deficiencies in production area, proposing improvement activities and overseeing implementation of actions to improve production performance
    • Managing the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams, interacting with engineering and production manager to highlight lack of skills to define training plans
    • Responding to resource issues as necessary and ensuring that production scheduling and production plan meets the volume requirements agreed in the demand plan and defined inventory service levels
    • Ensuring execution of volume, conforming product, and on-time delivery targets for the assigned production lines

    Your background

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical engineering
    • Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in field of production
    • Managing multiple tasks with efficient time management
    • Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple tasks and have efficient time management
    • Good leadership capabilities with a team-oriented attitude
    • Fluency in English language is mandatory
