Production Engineering Specialist

You will be working as Production Engineering Specialist and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Measurement & Analytics Division based out at Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Manufacturing Unit Manager. You will be primarily responsible for optimizing the production, organizations assembly methods, processes and equipment's in order to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs and safety

Your responsibilities

• Defining the working phase sequence of a new production process in order to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget
• Ensuring appropriate production methods, cycle-time, equipment performance and materials / components in support of production targets
• Identifying and recommending improvement opportunities and implementing improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality and cost requirements
• Ensuring the production process complies with the project targets
• Approving the design for processes developed internally or externally and performs final tests with respect to the project
• Provides support to production during the internal/external process/equipment start-up, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources
• Evaluating new process technologies to improve productivity, quality and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria and external provider choices

Your background

• Diploma or bachelor’s Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation engineering
• Minimum 5 years experience if bachelors & minimum 8 years of experience in diploma
• Experience in Smart Manufacturing & Industry 4.0 and should have knowledge in these processes & standards
• Experience in Production / Industrial / Manufacturing engineering along with cycle time, layout planning & FMEA from a Automation domain background
• Experience in Industrial Engineering, Process , KPI's, Time Engineering & Optimizing the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes and equipment in order to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs and safety
