    Production Engineering Specialist (f/m/d)

    As a Production Engineering Specialist, you will drive improvements in production of Actuators & Positioners and in Flow- & temperature measurement in Process Automation Measurement and Analytics in Minden, Germany. In this role your focus will be on optimizing the manufacturing process through innovation in a cost-effective way.

    This position reports to

    Head of Industrial Engineering

    Your responsibilities

    • Identification and implementation of improvements to the manufacturing process, taking into account costs, safety, and time constraints
    • Investigation of new methods, technologies, and changes in plant and process design to meet specifications
    • Implementation of continuous improvement, process standardization, and development of best practices
    • Determination and optimization of the production process, considering material and investment budgets
    • Driving digitalization in the manufacturing areas
    • Exchange with other locations on the topic of digitalization and Industry 4.0
    • Development of concepts for digital cooperation between site & suppliers
    • Analysis of processes for improvement through automation and digitalization
    • Automating internal digital processes and manufacturing processes
    • Consultation and collaboration with production staff and supervisors in implementing changes to the production line
    • Work in cross-functional teams to implement the strategy of continuous improvement
    • You will be the point of contact for digitalization and your opinion will be sought after in projects

    Your background

    • Minimum 2 years of work experience in a related technical function, preferably in a production environment or production engineering department, or in a position related to production improvement
    • Demonstrated experience working on a production line
    • Good knowledge of process analysis and process improvement, as well as data analysis and statistics with related software such as Minitab and MS Power BI
    • Strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
    • Sense for automation and digitalization potential
    • Interest in digitalization, Industry 4.0, and machine learning is desirable
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Production Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Digital Technologies)
    • Excellent analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems
    • Team player with excellent communication skills
    • Fluency in English and German
